OUR MISSION

To inform, inspire, and entertain Catholics through faith-based word games.

 

Gabriel Publications has been providing quality Catholic word games since 1999. Our puzzles have been published in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Great Britain, and Hong Kong.

 

We design puzzles for scores of diocesan newspapers, such as those in the Archdioceses of Baltimore, Boston, and Louisville, Kentucky. National publications such as Our Sunday Visitor and Liguorian, parish bulletins, and the newsletters of organizations such as the Knights of Columbus also use our puzzles.

 

In 2001, we published our first book, Word Games for Catholics (now published and distributed by Liguori Publications as Catholic Word Games), a variety word games book filled with crosswords, word searches, cryptograms, acrostics, and other puzzles based on the teachings of the Catholic Church.

 

Now we have three new word search books, All Things Catholic, The Bible, and The Saints, available as digital downloads in a PDF format. This allows you to purchase the books, keep them on your computer or other digital device to print whenever you wish.

 

OUR PUZZLE CONSTRUCTIONIST

Mary L. M. Bartlett is the writer and composer of our word games.

 

Ms. Bartlett graduated from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, with a BA in Humanities and earned her MA in Religious Studies from Providence College in Rhode Island.

 

Over the past thirty years, Ms. Bartlett has taught Religious Studies at the university level, in parochial high schools, and in parishes for adult and youth programs.
